Can't sing? No problem! Whether you are looking to shake up that "go-to" or try out something new, this workshop is for you! We will begin by embracing your type, dive into material choice, check out headshots/resumes and look at what to wear. Next we will focus on the most important moment in any audition (or interview) - entering the room and introducing yourself aka slating. Finally, we will spend the rest of the afternoon pulling apart everyone's monologues and songs. 

Have nothing prepared? Don't worry! So much can be learned by simply being in the room where it happens...

choices, tackling cold readings or scripted scenes and tips to create "instant chemistry." Heck, we will even share a few tricks to get you through that singing callback and how to crush a dance call with two left feet.

What does a melody say about the person? Uncover clues to characterization built into the very structure of a song. Using those tips as a foundation we will focus on crafting strong choices to make your performance as unique as you. Our workshop will shift between group analysis to in-class coaching on new material or discovering ways to dust off and revitalize that "go-to" standard.
